We are appealing for donations of laptops, desktop PCs and other essential IT equipment to support our work with Kalwande Vocational College in rural Tanzania.
We are currently looking for:
15 × Desktop PCs
15 × Laptops
2 × Scanners
1 × Battery backup
*Min spec: Windows 10/11, iC5 chip, 8GB Ram, 512 GB memory
To ensure donated equipment can be put to good use, we kindly ask that laptops and desktop PCs are in good, working condition.
These computers will provide a valuable resource at Kalwande, supporting tutors and students with teaching, learning, coursework and access to information and helping run courses more effectively. They will also help students develop key skills that are useful for employment and running small businesses.
For students in Tanzania, training is just as important as the tools themselves. By combining equipment with training and access to online learning resources, we can help students strengthen their education, develop valuable skills and improve their future opportunities.
By donating equipment you no longer need, you can give technology a second life, reduce waste and help prevent good equipment from going to landfill, while supporting learning opportunities for students and the communities we work with in rural Tanzania.
Have a laptop or desktop PC you could donate? We would be delighted to hear from you.
